• EX? Mult= Multiple Choice portion of the Exam
• EX? Ess= Short answer essay portion of the exam
• PAPER = Your group paper grade (worth 40 points)
• PAPER GROUP = The grade that your other group members gave you for the paper (worth 10 points)
• PRES. = Your group's presentation grade (worth a maximum of 20 pts.)
• PRES. GROUP= The grade that your other group members gave you (worth a max. of 10 pts.)
• EX CRED= The email extra credit assignment (worth 2 points)
• OTHER = Points credited for bad exam questions that were thrown out, etc.
• TOTAL= The total amount of points earned up to this point.
• CURRENT % = The current total percentage (look at the chart on your syllabus to calculate your current grade)

Hello everyone.  I certainly hope that you all enjoyed the class and that you've learned some things that will continue to stay with you throughout your lifetime.  Please feel free to stop by anytime to chat... it's always a pleasure to talk with former students.  A couple of things before we get to the grades: 

First:  Please DO NOT email, call or stop by to ask me to bump you up to the next grade level.  I provided everyone an opportunity to obtain 2 extra credit points so that if you were close to the next grade level you would be bumped up.  Phone calls, emails, etc. asking me to bump up grades, provide extra credit, etc. will be ignored and those making the solicitations may find their final grade mysteriously dropping (In short, don't bother).  Do feel free, however, to stop by and check your exam to make sure that it was graded properly.  If I made an error assigning points or in the grading, then by all means, bring this to my attention (you won't be penalized in this case :-)

Second:  I will be in my office this week Wednesday from 9:30-11:45.  If you would like to look over your exam you can drop by.  Giving me a heads up would be appreciated but is not necessary.
